First Look at Chucky from "Curse of Chucky"Submit Comment
"Curse of Chucky," a new direct-to-DVD installment in the "Child's Play" franchise, has already been filmed and expected to be released sometime this fall. Today, we have the first look at the new Chucky, courtesy of the film's star Fiona Dourif, who shared a look at the cover of the soundtrack. Check out the photo below.

Plot: The film revolves around Nica (Dourif), a young woman grieving over the gruesome suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister Barb (Danielle Bisutti) arrives with her young family to help settle their mother's affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nica's plans for the future, Barb's young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named Chucky (Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail.

But as a string of brutal murders begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the bloodshed. What she doesn't know is that Chucky has a personal score to settle. He's determined to finish a job he started more than 20 years earlier, and this time he's going to see it through to the bloody and shocking end.

The only curse is the pox and poison on the audience watching this sequel trash. Hell, even the first original film was barely decent.

Huh ...Fiona Dourif, as in the daughter of Brad, who is the voice of Chucky. She even looks like him, too.

After the 'Seed of Chucky' clusterf*ck literally no one is interested in another Chucky movie.

Looks exactly the same except someones shaved his eyebrows in to little lines. Is that their attempt at staying current?

^^Chucky is metrosexual now.

I've been a fan of Chucky since the very first one, but I got pissed when they turned him into horror comedy. Hope this one attempts to go back to the horror roots. Still waiting on that darker remake they keep talking about. Brad Dourif awesome voice actor.

Bride and Seed sucked completely. to me there is only the first 3.

A "re-imagined" Chucky would've been nice...

And yeah darker...like EVIL DEAD remake dark, IMO.

Tanman, you'd sit through being torched by Satan if it was put on a television screen in front of you.

^^Actually I would watch that...I'd rewind it and watch it again if Satan would be Dave Grohl in that cool Satan costume in PICK OF DESTINY or that guy in LEGEND...just saying...

If you're not interested in this movie and every other movie on here why are you always the first one to post on it Mink? Go out and get laid already you pathetic troll. There is more to life then you trying to post first on every article on here. And don't try to lie tell me how many girls you get. NO ONE that posts as many times as you will ever get laid.

Sc*mbag degenerate trolls who choose psychopathic serial killers as their avatar, and hence their online representation, posses neither the moral authority nor the prerequisite maturity to either dictate other peoples actions or question their motives.

This Chucky has hit its limit...they need to burn everything and start from scratch. The sequels have become more funny & tongue in cheek that got out of hand. They could've done some cool sh*t with the franchise, but they just took it as a big joke.

In the Seed of Chucky, they could've made his son darker and more in the lines of the original or go head to head with the original demonic doll as a passing of the torch, but what do they do? They make him a bargain basement Seasame St reject with an English accent that pisses himself!!

WTF?

With this Curse of Chucky, it was a perfect oppurtunity to restart everything with a new character franchise.

Chucky has lost considerate shine off his star compared to other movie monsters. Even a new look like a body swap would've been great change of pace...

But I gotta admit, Brad Dourif and Kassir's Cryptkeeper are my favorite voices in putting charisma to a possibly otherwise lame puppet.

I agree with rockkillers. Minkowski you live a pathetic life. Congrats on being the first to post on every article on this page (and probably many others out there). You never say anything positive. Do you even like movies? You feel as though you are this highly intellectual person but in the end you just sound like an ass. Prob too fat to get out of your chair and sit around patiently waiting to post online because no one in life will stand to listen to you.
