Top 50 Richest Celebrities, Which Actress is Richer Than Oprah?

Top 50 Richest Celebrities, Which Actress is Richer Than Oprah?Submit Comment
Which American actress is richer than Oprah? According to a new list, "Seinfeld" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus is worth a whopping $3 billion, beating Oprah by $300 million and becoming the fourth richest celebrity (singers, rappers, actors, models).

Louis-Dreyfus didn't earn all that money from her work on "Seinfeld." In fact, most of it comes from her family. But that's not to say that "Seinfeld" didn't make her richer. Both Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David made the list, each being worth $800 million.

What's interesting is that Keanu Reeves is worth $350 million, which is more than Will Smith ($200 million) and Bruce Springsteen ($200 million). But that's nothing comparing to the person who took first place, George Lucas, who's worth $7.3 billion, mostly thanks to the sale of "Star Wars" to Disney.

Check out the top 50 list below:

1. George Lucas: $7.3 Billion

@SACDaddy

This is the most current list you idiot. Most celebs are worth way more dead than alive. Especially people like Lennon and Sinatra. Their estate whores out their name with merchandise and compilations and what have you at a much more saturated level than what they would have done when they were alive.

You are seriously very stupid for not understanding this. It's no wonder that minkowski gets so frustrated with you.

Nah. I get frustrated with him because a) almost everything in his limited universe is about race b) he seems to vicariously enjoy human suffering, like his off-topic post to gory and graphic photos of the Boston Marathon bombing (huge red flag imo) and c) he LOVES graphic, extreme violence, yet a holstered gun on a law-abiding citizen's hip sends the fool into paroxysms of fear.

He is the perfect definition of the modern American idiot.
M. Bullitt writes:

Well I might as well say of I what I think of a Good Day To Die Hard:

It's bad, really bad, probably the worst of the franchise and totally forgetable. The plot could be acceptable if it wasn't so badly made. John McClane got really old and you could clearly see how tired he is like he doesn't give a sh*t. The only positive thing is this new Aussie actor, Jai Courtney who was also in Jack Reacher, was doing okay for a beginning.

One monumental stupid scene is to see them traveling by car & by night from Moscow to Chernobyl in No Time! Knowing that there isn't any direct motorway it's physically impossible.

One last thing: as it is said in the film, Grenoble is Not in f*cking Switzerland! Even that they didn't get it right.

4,5/10!
Deaft0ne writes:
on May 17th, 2013 at 12:57:55 PM

@mink

Yeah but SAC is f*cking stupid for being dumbfounded that there are dead celebs on this list. Anyone with even the slightest modic*m of common sense knows that many celebrities remain very profitable after they expire.

Most are even more profitable like Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson and JRR Tolkien. For SAC to be ignorant of this FACT makes him either a complete moron, or willfully inept.

Motherf*cking Shakespeare and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle are still cash cows for f*ck's sake!
minkowski writes:

Direct road or no road, which is a fact most people won't know, they match a military helicopter's race to Chernobyl...in a f*cking car.

Die Hard 5 has all the production value of a direct-to-DVD turd, and John Moore needs to go back to film school, because the dumb son of a bitch doesn't even understand the 180 rule. Then again, neither does Nolan.
M. Bullitt writes:

@pornfly

Yeah a simple search on google or wikipedia will answer where these celebs get their money. Julia Louis-Dreyfus got a huge backend deal for Seinfeld and New Adventures of Old Christine and she is also a producer. Jami Gertz deepthroats a billionaire, etc.

Dead celebs need no explanation.
Deaft0ne writes:
on May 17th, 2013 at 4:57:31 PM

1.5 billion of Louis-Dreyfus's $ is from her backend deals. She gets about 2.5 million a month each from Seinfeld and Old Christine syndication residuals. I remember reading about it in US or something.

mustardayonnaise writes:
on May 17th, 2013 at 7:28:10 PM

1.5 billion of Julia Louis-Dreyfus' money is NOT from her back-end deals. Do the math... Jerry Seinfeld was EP and star of the show and he's worth $800 million, so how could she make more than him? No, her daddy is a multi-billionaire fund manager or some sh*t; she's practically been a billionaire since she turned 18.

That's not to say she isn't a decent comedienne. I happen to really like VEEP. Seinfeld is a perfectly fine show, overrated yes, but a damn sight better than most of the sewage on TV. That 'new adventures of old christine' show sucked, though.
mustardayonnaise writes:
on May 17th, 2013 at 7:34:25 PM

Correction- daddy is a commodities trader. Whatever, all those thieving i-banker types can suck a d*ck.

And anyway, these numbers are all bullsh*t to begin with. It's not like Forbes or Huffpost opens up the books on these people and does a thorough audit. They're educated guesses, minus the education. PLUS, they're ignoring scads of people in the industry who likely have as much or more, but aren't newsworthy for one reason or another.

Basically: filler, as is all celebrity news.
