Robert Downey Jr Re-Teams with "Iron Man" Director for "Chef" Comedy

Robert Downey Jr Re-Teams with "Iron Man" Director for "Chef" ComedySubmit Comment
Robert Downey Jr is in talks to re-team with his "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 2" director Jon Favreau for supporting role in a new independent comedy, called "Chef." Favreau will direct from his own script. He will also star in the movie.

Not much is known about the plot of the film, except that it takes place at a Los Angeles restaurant operated by an emotional chef, played by Favreau. Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo and Bobby Cannavale are set to co-star. The plan is to begin shooting in July in Los Angeles.

Favreau got noticed for his "Swingers" comedy back in 1996. After the success of "Iron Man," the helmer has been focusing on big-budget movies. "Chef" will mark Favreau's return to independent films and will have the smallest budget since his "Made" movie in 2001.

Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper is set to star in a completely different film, also called "Chef." That story is about a chef looking to make a comeback in London.

Just guessing on this but Cooper's film will be more praised...yet Favreau's to me will probably be more fun to watch. Favreau is back in forth in good movies and the Iron Man series showed that. Iron Man 1 was great and Iron Man 2 was mediocre. So let's see what happens but that is just my best guess what is going to happen.

minkowski you are the true example of a pessimistic, unfulfilled, hater, lonely and just a person who preaches everything they can't and wont do. Keep up the hate because that is all you are and you seem to be consumed by it. Every article on here you post a negative comment about. If it isn't a fully negative one it definitely isn't a positive one. Sir or Lady whatever your really are I think you need to seek some sort of therapy just to get over your overwhelming need to just be so negative. If I'm wrong will someone please disagree with me! If so then my bad but otherwise I will post this exact thing on every minkowski post and more until he either changes his attitude or just leaves this site all together. I suggest you all do the same. Just copy and paste and let's just get rid of this fool. Get a life minkowski or just end it. either way I'll be satisfied.
