"Iron Man 3" Grossed $15.6 Million from Midnight Showings

"Iron Man 3" Grossed $15.6 Million from Midnight ShowingsSubmit Comment
"Iron Man 3" has already grossed over $300 million internationally, but now everyone is paying attention to the domestic results, with many believing that it may even surpass "The Avengers."

According to Marvel, the film earned an additional $15.6 million from just the 9pm and midnight screenings (on Thursday night). "The Avengers" took in $18.7 million and ended up setting a new opening weekend record of $207.4 million. Since "Iron Man 3" is slightly behind, it's safe to say that "The Avengers" records are in no danger.

Even though "Iron Man 3" will likely not break the $200 million mark during its opening weekend, experts believe it may still reach $160 million, which will make it one of the best openings of all time.

I though the middle hour let it down badly and I think its time for RDJ to step aside and let someone else take over

Not gonna happen leemaca-waka waka.

This will clear a billion and RDJ will come back for Iron Man 4 and Avengers 2&3.
