Trailer for Anton Yelchin's "Odd Thomas" Supernatural Thriller Leaked Online Posted: May 3rd, 2013 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
It's been over two years since we first told you about the supernatural thriller "Odd Thomas," starring Anton Yelchin, Willem Dafoe and 50 Cent. And now that the film is planning to make an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, we have the sales trailer that will be used to sell it. Check out that trailer below. "Odd Thomas" is based on a novel by Dean Koontz and tells of an ordinary man (Yelchin) with an extraordinary gift. Able to communicate with the dead, Odd must use their silent clues in an attempt to prevent a mass catastrophe which threatens everything he holds dear. The new movie is directed by Stephen Sommers (GI Joe, The Mummy). It has yet to be acquired for distribution or get a release date.

Yeah, I've read all of the Odd Thomas series, and they're decent for a Dean Koontz book, which isn't much of a glowing accolade, but really, with all the great unused literature out there, why the f*ck adapt one of his stories, and then cast 50 Cent? Because IIRC, there wasn't any black people in any of the books, and certainly no rappers.

I think Yelchin watched too many times Ghostbusters.

Was somewhat interested, until I read "50 Cent".

I remember 4 Yeats ago when he was touted as the next big thing.

"he was touted as the next big thing."
Yeah, but who listens to the California Parole Board?

Is it really considered "leaked" if noone knew it was out there?
I wonder how much money 50 Cent had to pay to show up on this?
Is Stephem Sommers still working? Before he'd get these massive blockbuster projects, now this. How the mighty have fallen...

"Acclaimed director" Stephen Sommers? He doesn't deserve the first word and barely deserves the second. After Van Helsing and GI Joe, he should be in movie jail for life.
This has all the hallmarks of a Sommers' opus. Bad CGI, bad acting, bland nonsensical setup followed ridiculous convoluted 'everything goes crazy' action set-pieces. Skip.
