Ron Perlman is Pressuring Guillermo Del Toro to Make "Hellboy 3"

Ron Perlman is Pressuring Guillermo Del Toro to Make "Hellboy 3"Submit Comment
About three weeks ago, original "Hellboy" creator Mike Mignola stated that a third "Hellboy" movie will never happen. While it seems that Universal Pictures is no longer interested in the property, director Guillermo Del Toro still mentions that he would one day like to conclude the trilogy.

Now, during an interview with IGN, "Hellboy" star Ron Perlman revealed that he's constantly putting pressure on Del Toro to make "Hellboy 3" his next project. "[Del Toro and I] both walked away from 'Hellboy 2' agreeing that there would never be another one," he said. "But, with the passage of time, it became clear to me that he really always designed it as a trilogy. [Guillermo] has a very well-articulated idea of what the resolve would look like and it's amazingly theatrical and is epic in scope and would make for amazing cinema, with or without the first two movies."

Perlman continued: "I said [to Guillermo], 'You owe it to the world to finish this trilogy.' I've been giving him Jewish guilt."

Hurry up with the new season of Sons Of Anarchy first!

I can use some Jewish guilt on Alex to give us an edit button!

I hope Ron Perlman can actually get Del Toro to really make it his next movie because Ron is getting up there.

Personally, I would love to see a 3rd made IF it was an improvement over the 2nd movie. The first one was so good but I was a bit disappointed in the sequel. (Did Abe really need to sing a Barry Manilow tune?)

This Sequel doesn't even need to happen. Perlman and Del Toro just need to let it go and move on.

Ron just hit his career panic button. Sons won't be going much longer and he'll have nothing left after it.
Perlman: Pls Guillermo, I know we said we wouldn't do a 3rd movie but my career is winding down and I need a bigger payday.
Guillermo: Leave me alone Ron, those Hellboy movies were warm pieces of sh*t at best, leave me alone, wear your Vincent costume around and see if anyone wants to reboot that show. You might wanna try and find someone younger than Linda Hamilton tho

Ron's gotta eat.

Without even knowing the details of the story, and what Del Toro's concept and ideas are for the 3rd film, both killermicropenis and mindriot sound like f*cking idiots with their comments.

Guillermo Del Toro is a hell of a filmmaker and has never made a bad movie, and HellBoy II:The Golden Army was very creative and interesting and unique and much better than the first film which was great to begin with.

Looking forward to Pacific Rim as well.

Also Ron Perlman is paid about 500k per episode for Sons of Anarchy and saying he only wants to do HellBoy III for money is just willfully retarded.

Also Beauty&The Beast has already been rebooted on The CW within Kristen Kreuk.

You can't fix stupid.

Agreed the second Hellboy was way better than the first...

Good thing Perlman is doing what so many fans wanted from Del Toro.

Good luck Perlman...

If this doesn't work out he can always star in a remake of 'Harry and the Hendersons'.

I gotta watch Hellboy 2 again.

Not going to happen, not unless they can sell the franchise to someone else. Universal isn't doing it. It's unprofitable, and they're looking hard for profitable franchises. So Ron should look at who owns the film rights. If it's Universal, he's f*cked, unless he can get them to sell it to someone else.

End of story.

I agree with those who want a 3rd film, purely because I support films based on comics from non-DC/Marvel publishers.
(EXCEPT FOR THE SPIRIT. f*ck THAT sh*t)

It needs a third tbh , the story in the end is he brings about the end of days ,

Hellboy I was a classic. Hellboy II however, was a disaster. Perlman should jump off the wagon.
