Producer Says Dwayne Johnson Will Return for "Fast and Furious 7"

Producer Says Dwayne Johnson Will Return for "Fast and Furious 7"Submit Comment
Producer Neal Moritz is promoting "Fast and Furious 6" and answering questions about the seventh film that's been rumored to begin filming this summer, which is supposedly the reason why Justin Lin won't return to direct.

"Yes, we are gonna film this summer," he confirmed. "We have been talking about it for quite a while, because while we're making any of the 'Fast' movies we're always talking about what could happen in future 'Fast' films."

Dwayne Johnson previously revealed that he wouldn't be able to return for "Fast and Furious 7" if it's going to shoot this summer. The problem is a scheduling conflict with his "Hercules" movie. But according to Moritz: "The Rock will be involved as well."

James Wan (Saw, Insidious) has been hired to replace Lin, and Moritz is very happy with the choice. "[Wan is] a terrific, terrific director," he said. "He's done everything you could do in the genre he's been working in, and as he said to me the other day, everything he has trained [for] has been so he could take the next step up into something like 'Fast and Furious.'"

I really don't f*cking care anymore.

And the motherf*ckers are really desperate aren't they? I heard Universal was in bad shape, franchise wise, which is why they're dusting off Jurassic Park, but talking about the sequel to a movie that hasn't even f*cking appeared yet is like counting the chickens coming out of the ass of the chicken that hasn't f*cking hatched.

Money grubbing bastards always ruining a good thing...

Wonder what's so f*cking important about hurrying up the next entry of each guy's wet dream of a franchise?

If I was a betting man, I'd bet the studio might've wanted to pressure out Lin. Maybe he was getting too much of the profits by contract of a franchise he helped recover from...maybe his paycheck PLUS securing the cast was too much.

Think about it. There has to be a reason why getting rid of your golden goose that saved your franchise from bankruptcy 3 movies back, making each every movie since more profitable than the next seem like a good idea....Imagine getting the highest numbers for the latest entry....then, BAM!! Can't wait to properly prep the next one? WTF?

Now if it's just to get more cash sooner to fund another movie?...Even worse, f*ckers got sh*t for brains.

Who the f*ck knows...

f*ck the rock. in 2003 they tried to sell us he'll be the new arnold - what a f*cking joke - the guy has zero charisma and ruins every movie he comes in contact with.
