RIPD: A recently slain cop (Ryan Reynolds) joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man (Kevin Bacon) who murdered him. Set to hit theaters on July 19th.

Oldboy: An advertising executive (Josh Brolin) is kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his punishment, only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment. RIPD has a fitting title for its inevitable box office failure.

Not to Hollywood: Ryan Reynolds is NOT leading-man material. He just isn't. You guys tried it with a few different films and it didn't work. So let it go, okay? He could be just fine playing comedic side character parts, but stop trying to make him into another Ford or Cruise.

Oh yeah hollywood instead of making it 15 years like in the original Oldboy, you made it 20 probably because you think it's more "edgier". To hell with everyone involved in that movie, you will not top the original masterpiece.

(and yeah, Oldboy is in my top 5 best movie ever)

P.S. No way in hell that they will stick to original ending (whatever that douchebag reviewer said)

*sigh*

The height of modern American cinema. A movie about the undead starring a dead guy and a braindead guy. A remake remade by a racist dope-addict c*cksucking four-eyed burnt dwarf troll. And James Wan's latest commercial exploitation of a driveling horror hit, which wasn't nearly as original as Saw, which he also helped rape.

I'm going to go jack off for an hour straight.

f*ck this bullsh*t.
