Earlier this month it was reported that director Fede Alvarez filmed a scene that would appear after the credits of his "Evil Dead" reboot. Today we have a look at a portion of that scene, which was rumored to have been cut.
In the post-credits scene, a surviving member of the group walks down a road, covered in blood. A truck suddenly pulls up to the survivor. When the window is rolled down, we see that the driver is Ash (Bruce Campbell). He asks if everything is ok. The survivor looks at Ash and begins to become possessed. Ash turns to the camera and says "Groovy."
Unfortunately, we don't have the entire scene, just the last part. Watch it below, and watch "Evil Dead" in theaters on April 5th.

Wow. A grainy, blurry, dark floating head muttering something unintelligible under a sea of static, all for about three seconds.
You trying to out-do the 6 second Wolverine teaser, Alex?

No surprise they'd get Bruce in there somehow. Don't think I'll be seeing this though. The after credits scene may be the highlight of the film.

Why are they still using needles? Can't they just...teleport a blood sample? Hell, in TNG they use the f*cking forward array to move a moon. They even transported the f*cking shuttlecraft in one episode, but here they have to use a needle to acquire a few blood samples. And I bet in the future, they'll be able to tell the exact moment you'll croak from just one red blood cell.
God, even the future is bullsh*t.

I don't know if WP has been terribly misinformed, but I went to a promotional screening on the 21st (you know those ones where they record your reactions) and in the post credits scene there was no truck or possessed survivor, it was JUST this. Still epic though.
