Ryan Reynolds Has Little Interest in "Justice League of America" Movie

Ryan Reynolds Has Little Interest in "Justice League of America" MovieSubmit Comment
Warner Bros has big plans for its DC superheroes. There have been talks of a second "Green Lantern" movie and bringing Ryan Reynolds back to play the character in the "Justice League of America" movie. But according to Reynolds, he has little interest in returning to the comic book world.

"I don't know. If you're gonna do comic book movies in that vein, you really have to get them right," he told Empire magazine. "I believe that Joss Whedon is the guy that just nails it and Christopher Nolan obviously nails it. So if they were gonna do it like that, it would be an interesting thing to do."

Reynolds continued: "Working on 'Green Lantern,' I saw how difficult it is to make that concept palatable, and how confused it all can be when you don't really know exactly where you're going with it or you don't really know how to access that world properly. So at this point I have very little interest in joining that kind of world. But, you know, a great script and a good director can always turn that around."

Warner Bros understands that beating Marvel's "The Avengers" will take a lot. But it also knows that bringing Christopher Nolan on board for "Justice League" will likely mean that Christian Bale will return to play Batman, and now it seems that Reynolds would return as Green Lantern. So Warners may not much of a choice.

I thought he said that Batman and Superman couldn't coexist?

Ryan Reynolds would be singing a VERY different tune if Turd Lantern had made a sh*tload of money instead of spontaneously combusting at the box office. He'd be begging for WB to drag his over-rated, goofy, scruffy, nerf-herding ass back to make more of that lemon-lime Jell-o comic book bullsh*t.

Yeah, I'm thinking a fat payday would change his preferences.

Also he should prefer doing Justice League over Deadpool because at least Justice League has a chance in hell of ever getting made.

If there is a Justice League movie, they need a good Green Lantern to make it work. Along with a good Superman and Batman. Those three have to be good for the movie to be good, IMO. It could survive the other heroes being subpar, but those three have to carry the film.

Those f*ckers stole two precious hours of my life, that movie was beyond moronic. It was like an insult to all the othe great movies that could have been done with a quarter of that sky high f*cking budget.

Green lantern had so much potential but was shockingly bad. I think they blew the budget on the off world scenes which were pretty awful and lost sight of what we really wanted to see as fans the ring creating some cool stuff.

Warner apparently is so afraid to simply copy Marvel. Warner, just do a good Men of Steel and let it be your Iron Man to continue with other heroes to end a phase in a Justice League movie. Yet, they prefer to mess it up one, two, three... times.
