Video: High School Quiz Show Team Loves Nicolas Cage Posted: February 27th, 2013 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
WGBH station in Boston holds a television high school quiz show, hosted by radio personality Billy Costa. During Brookline High School's match-up against Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School, Costa decided to get to know the Brookline team by asking them to name their favorite movie. The first kid named "Con Air," stating that John Malkovich brought out a great performance out of Nicolas Cage. The second kid named "Face/Off," saying that " Nick Cage [is] just really in his element." And it went like that, with each member of the team naming a different Cage movie. The best part is that they all had an explanation for why they like these movies, with the biggest reason being Cage. Watch the video below.

Despite all of his rage, he is (and always will be) Nicolas Cage.

So there're not really that smart are they? Or just bad taste in movies.

hahhaha! I feel like they planned that, or that they just turned into a joke intentionally. Regardless, Cage is the sh*t!

Was there a Nic Cage hair quiz?

Duh, who DOESN'T love Nic Cage?

Nic Cage kicked ass in the late 90's - The Rock,Face/off and one of the greatest movies in the history of cinema - Con Air.

Cage is awesome, but these queer brats are just trying to be cheeky.

Totally rehearsed. I think they told these kids the host would ask about their favorite movies, and as a rather lame inside joke all four of them conspired to name a Nic Cage movie.
None of the four look they're even thinking as they recite their answer, and their body language and delivery indicate an uncomfortable countenance with respect to the obvious deception.
Definitely some behind-the-scenes planning going on there.

And you'd think these kids would want to impress, thus naming a film other than action fodder from 1997 or so. The Artist, The King's Speech, Network for Christ's sake.

I actually love this response. The whole ordeal seems cheesy and ham-fisted, the 'host' is a bad knock-off of Chuck Woolery... that these kids decided to call it out with a cheeseball, semi-rehearsed response of their own is a nice little slap in the face of the production.
Oh, and I love Raising Arizona. And the National Treasure movies are an (unfortunately) guilty pleasure of mine. So that helps. LOL

Love me some Nic Cage. Response was pretty stupid though, but hey publicity! Not that Nic Cage needs publicity he's in multiple movies per year.
