Seth MacFarlane Will Never Host the Oscars Again

Seth MacFarlane Will Never Host the Oscars AgainSubmit Comment
It's still unclear what the Academy Awards people thought about Seth MacFarlane's hosting abilities. The ratings for the show were excellent and it went smoothly, unlike when James Franco and Anne Hathaway hosted.

But one thing that's clear is that MacFarlane has no interest in hosting again. "No way," he wrote on Twitter. "[It was lots of] fun to have done it, though." It's not surprising that he's not interested in returning, since he previously said that he had to work "150 hours per week" to keep up with all of his projects.

During the show, MacFarlane suggested that Tina Fey would have done a better job hosting. But Fey also has no interest in hosting the Oscars. "I just feel like that gig is so hard," she told Huffington Post. "Especially for a woman -- the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses. No way."

"I just feel like that gig is so hard," - hey Seth. Leave your boyfriends c*ck out of this.

"Especially for a woman -- the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses." - It didn't stop you from hosting, did it Pillow-Biter?!

@Enforcer you're right, Crystal was great and it's not like he's doing anything. And he doesn't appear to be on his last leg in the health department so squeeze a few more years from him. As much as it pains me to say and as little he has to do in the movie biz, I wouldn't mind Ryan Seacrest hosting. If it's one thing he's proven to me is he can handle talent and keep a show moving. He's already got d*ck Clark's DNA imprinted in him (I think he's a d*ck Clark clone created to house DC's brain after he died) Granted he's as funny as a juvenile cancer treatment facility at 2am but no host has really been. It's more about managing the show. And he could do that.

Basically, he has other sh*t to do and he worked his ass off concurrently doing his own projects and meeting the Academy's quality control requirements.

I do like how WP tries to spin it into a slam against the Academy though.
