"Identity Thief" Beats "Snitch" and "Dark Skies" at Box Office

"Identity Thief" Beats "Snitch" and "Dark Skies" at Box OfficeSubmit Comment
Despite two new releases this weekend, "Identity Thief" reclaimed the top spot at the domestic box office in its third weekend. The comedy grossed an additional $14 million to bring its worldwide total to $95 million. The movie cost only $35 million to make and has a 24% fresh rating on RottenTomatoes.

Dwayne Johnson's "Snitch" action thriller was one of the new releases. It landed in second place, grossing $13 million on a budget of $35 million. The film has a 53% fresh rating.

The other wide release was "Dark Skies" horror film, which took sixth spot with $8.9 million. Since it cost only $3.5 million to make, it's already considered a hit. "Dark Skies" has a 34% fresh rating.

Dark Skies Wasn't bad at all but I thought it'd be better. I didn't like how it ended.
