Bryan Singer Hints Return of Cyclops and Storm in "X-Men: Days of Future Past"

Bryan Singer Hints Return of Cyclops and Storm in "X-Men: Days of Future Past"Submit Comment
Since director Bryan Singer is bringing back so many of the original "X-Men" characters for "X-Men: Days of Future Past," fans have been wondering whether he wants Storm (Halle Berry) and Cyclops (James Marsden) to also make an appearance.

Singer has now replied, hinting: "Who wouldn't? That's all I can say." He made a similar comment when asked about Nighcrawler, stating that it's very possible, but that it's too early in the process.

Singer also commented on the role that Peter Dinklage will play, hinting that his character won't be shy and won't be CGI. MTV claims that Dinklage will play the main villain in the film, Bolivar Trask, the inventor of the Sentinels. The character, however, was played by Bill Duke in "X-Men: The Last Stand."

Read this interview earlier today. Great read. The interviewer asked him if he would be changing any events or character deaths from X3 since the time travel would allow him to. And he said candidly back
"What you mean to say is, fix sh*t? Yes I will be doing some of that." He did say it like that. Hilarious lol

Just leave Halle out. She'll probably bitch for more lines and screentime anyway. She's still fine as f*ck at 45+ years old, but I'm tired of her acting. We don't need every cast member from the original to return. Just have her in a picture on Xavier's desk, next to his copy of "Wheelchair Monthly".

@cress she did hold out for more money on X3. Plus she demanded they let her fly or no dice. Bitch is crafty

@Vincere. That's why they should forget her. No one will miss her. Too bad Toad didn't finish her off in the original.

@Vincere: figured as much. Knew they'd use time travel to change things so maybe we can get an X-Men 4 or an entire franchise reboot.

Anyway, weird they don't know who or what is going to happen with respect to all the cameos. You'd think at this stage, with the movie coming out this year, they'd have wri0tten down all the bit parts. Sounds like the cameos are going in on-the-fly, which makes me wonder just what kind of quality production they're running.

Cyclops DIED in "X-Men: The Last Stand". Are they gonna retcon that to bring him back?

Well, technically he just disappeared, leaving his glasses behind. Possibly he just went out for a Starbucks Mocha Latte.

@anal spray yes. The time travel will allow an alternate future a la star trek and allow singer to basicly erase most of X3.

@mink its coming out in 2014 not 2013. They haven't even started filming yet. They are still building sets atm. From his interviews it seems he knows what he wants to do already but just has to get everyone singed and on board before he says something he can't deliver. Like yes I'm bringing back storm.....then berry tells him to f*ck off or wants an assinine amount of money.

Famke already psedo admitted she was coming back too at a con.

@ I think you were thinking of wolverine. That makes me wonder though what timeline wolverine will honor considering it takes place in a time after X3. Will it show hints for what happens in days of future past??? Or will it keep X3 as canon? I hope it goes in line with singers idea. What about you guys?

Bri Singer gives set reports non stop and has hot tub c*ck machine sessions scheduled.

@Vincere: wow. You're right. Thought it was coming out this year. My bad.

Ehh too many damn characters unless the movie is split in half somehow.

@mink sorry if that was harsh. I was multi-tasking and trying to type my thoughts and my phone was not being cooperative. Didn't mean any disrespect. As they say, just the facts. Lol

Someone go back in time and stop this f*cking franchise from ever happening.
Janus writes:

@Anal Spray: No body, no prove of death. Plus Phoenix never confessed to actually have killed Cyclops. She didn't talk about it at all.
