Two New Mysterious Photos from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" Set

Two New Mysterious Photos from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" SetSubmit Comment
Each day that "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel is in production, director Marc Webb posts a random photo from the set of the new movie. Yesterday, he showed a photo of two FBI agents, prompting guesses that the FBI may be after Spider-Man or they may be looking to Oscorp.

Today, Webb posted a shot of America's 32nd President, Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR), along with the words "The Passage." We know that the film is being shot in New York, where there are plenty of FDR-related roads and bridges. It's likely that one of those locations will be featured in the movie.

Check everything out below and see "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" in theaters on May 2nd, 2014.

Whoa, are the Men in Black gonna have a cameo too? Weird!

These look more like photos of National Treasure 6 instead of anything Spider-Man related.

Webb seems pretty desperate these days. God knows why he came back to this shifty franchise instead of working on a sequel to The Incredibles or another MI film.

I miss Sam Raimi.

@SACdaddy

Brad Bird directed The Incredibles and Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol. Marc Webb had absolutely nothing to do with these.

Webb's only prior film before TASM was 500 Days of Summer and he directed music videos prior to that.

Well, I knew that was FDR before even reading the article, but I still don't get the photos.

There's some old Panovision something behind the agents, and both images have a strong retro vibe going on, so perhaps there's like a really deep flashback or something, something to do with Uncle Ben's past.

I have no idea.
