Director Bryan Singer has been making a lot of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" casting announcements on his Twitter account. And today, he has unveiled a photo of Professor X's wheelchairs from the film that will be used by Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy. Check out the photos below.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" has Kitty Pryde sending her mind back to her younger self in order to warn the X-Men that Senator Robert Kelly's assassination will result in a future where Sentinels rule the United States and mutants live in internment camps.

The new movie co-stars Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore and Peter Dinklage. It's set to hit theaters on July 18th, 2014.

I have to agree with supaflywill. The continuity discrepancies between the three 'X-Men' films and 'First Class' is such a clusterf*ck, this movie is a mistake waiting to happen. It sounds good on paper but I doubt it will be even remotely watchable.

supaflywill- There's a lot of inconsistencies, that's probably why Bryan Singer has chosen this time travel scenario so he can make changes to the future that make originals and the prequels match up. In a world where Senator Kelly doesn't die we get Singers original X Men films. In a world where they KNOW he's gonna die but must somehow save his life it creates an entirely different reality. A smart move on Singers part really.

Those wheelchairs makes me think of the most gorgeous crippled chick I ever met last weekend. I woulda f*cked her till she could walk again.

cinemaisdead- yeah i agree, thats the only thing that can be really done tbh,i enjoy the x men and i would always go to watch them but really i didnt go and see this one just waited for the blu ray , should of kept the night crawler in etc etc , so full of holes this trilogy but i cant believe how blatant these mistakes are that they would do it ....i guess they didnt even watch the previous
films lol - badchad -pmsl !!!!

Well, you can either comment on the news Alex writes, or complain that it isn't up to date. Or you can make your own movie news website. That's what I've learned.

Endless knee jerk negativity is soooo last year anyway.

The wheelchairs look pretty cool. Some questions though. Why does one have a right hand control and the other does not? Why would either have a hand control? Odd. You would think he'd have the ability at least to move his means of conveyance with his mind. That would cooler than doing the Stephen Hawking thing.

Also, strangely enough, the wheels look they were constructed for pushing. Why? I can't recall ever seeing him push his chair with the wheels. You could design the chair's wheels with fair thinner tread since they're moved by other means.

I will say though that they look comfortable, and I'd rather ride around all day in one of those than a Segway. Those things are sh*t. To think the media once crooned about the possibility of building entire cities around a f*cking Segway. lol. Yeah, okay.

@mink - can I have some of what you've been smokin?

@tt - lol... no sh*t.

This "X-Men: Days of Future Past" story came out in the day that buying 50-100 copies of The X-Men a month. It's a good story. Someone knew what to look for when they picked it. I remember Wolverine having some grey in his hair, which is interesting as he's not supposed to age. Maybe like the last episode of TNG (was it?) when Data had put some grey into his hair to make his friends feel more comfortable around him.

The younger Xavier's chair doesn't have controls, because Magneto would move Prof. X around like his little bitch.
