Hollywood Out of Ideas? Game of Tag to Become a Movie

Hollywood Out of Ideas? Game of Tag to Become a MovieSubmit Comment
In January, a Wall Street Journal reporter wrote about a 23-year-old game of tag that has been played by a group of friends (pictured) from Washington state. They started playing in high school and continued it through college.

Eventually they developed rules. Whoever is "it" must travel to anywhere in the country to tag one of the other competitors. Once you're "it," you will remain "it" for an entire year.

After the article was written, the friends have been receiving pitches from Hollywood producers, who want to turn their story into a movie. Just recently, they sold the rights to the story to producer Todd Garner, who is planning to sell his pitch to Hollywood studio. Apparently it's already a hot property.

Hopefully someone will bring the game of Russian Roulette to the big screen, so Shia LeBouf can go ahead and start practicing it to get that experience.

Or the game of Chicken. Shia and his girlfriend can start practicing head-on collisions in their Prius cars.

TWISTER would be a good game to have a film. Oh, wait..Jan DeBont already f*cked that up.

Titling "Hollywood out of ideas?" in 2013, really? How about time-travelling to about six-seven years ago and writing it then?

And yet hundreds of scripts on the Hollywood Black List can't get produced?

Can't wait for Hide and Seek The Movie.

One day Cress will realize he's not remotely funny and stop spamming the website with his inane prattle and insipid "jokes". One day, he might discover something called "the outside". One day he might even discover pornography and apply his intrinsically limited intellect to that endeavour. One day.
