"Star Wars" Spin-Off Film to Focus on Yoda?

"Star Wars" Spin-Off Film to Focus on Yoda?Submit Comment
When Disney acquired Lucasfilm, the studio announced that it will begin work on "Star Wars: Episode VII," with plans of releasing it during the summer of 2015. Then came a rumor that Disney will follow a similar strategy that it has been using with its Marvel movies.

The plan is to make a new "Star Wars" movie ever two years, and release an additional two or three spin-offs in between each film. The spin-offs would focus on specific characters from the "Star Wars" universe. They will be eventually be brought together, "The Avengers"-style.

Disney has yet to confirm this, but AICN has now learned that not only is this true, but that one of the spin-offs will focus on the adventures of Yoda. If this happens, the new film would hit theaters sometime between 2015 and 2017.

Cha-ching.

I'm a big Star Wars fan, but I've met some REALLY intense fanatics. They're freaky insane; if this hasn't pissed them off (I know it won't have...) then they'll be first in line. Them and the millions world wide.

Way to milk the most milkable franchise in the galaxy.

I actually like this better than the newer Star Wars film ideas

Maybe have him facing off against a Darth Maul type character

No matter what happens, the fanboys will always say it's crap and not as awesome as
Arti writes:

Whoops. Not as awesome as what was done before, same with Star Trek. It gets tiring. At least we get something new, and this Yoda idea might actually be a pretty good one.

'^ Is Yoda a little taller than Tom ?'

No. But he's a lot less the closet homo.

minkowski writes:

On one hand, no one has the deep pockets like Disney to make good use of Star Wars.

On the other hand, no company has the lack of imagination and greed to rape the property quite like Disney.
triggax writes:

^Not true.

Lucasfilm has way more greed and raping capabilities.

One thing you can be sure of. Whether they suck sh*t or not. Disney will stick with what they originally put on film.

I'd say Dreamworks and Lucasfilm are spades more Jewrific than Disney. Walt Disney hated Jews.
minkowski writes:

"Walt Disney hated Jews."

That's actually not true, and is a wildly popular lie told by one *sshole writer in the fifties, and then later promulgated by bullsh*t media like Family Guy and Robot Chicken, not to mention the internet, where lies go to f*ck and breed like rabbits.

"Lucasfilm has way more greed and raping capabilities."

I call bullsh*t on this one too, primarily because Lucas may have raped Star Wars, but it was his to rape, whereas Disney whored out Pixar and undermined their artistic integrity to sell endless bullsh*t 3D sequels.
KillerCOck writes:

Kermit the Frog and The Hulk should make a Cameo appearance. Its the only way i'll watch this piece of sh*t.
Ranger writes:
on February 5th, 2013 at 9:22:38 PM

And only if The Hulk rapes Kermit.
