Ashton Kutcher updated his Twitter account with a photo showing a split-screen image of his face and the face of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, who Kutcher is portraying in the upcoming "jOBS" movie. Check out the photo below.

Plot: The story will cover years from 1971 to 2000, showing Steve Jobs (Kutcher) go from a wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple, where he became one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of our time.

The new movie is directed by Michael Stern (Swing Vote) and co-stars Dermot Mulroney, Lukas Haas, JK Simmons and Matthew Modine. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and is now set to hit theaters on April 19th.

In all fairness, that is a pretty good mash-up. But I seriously doubt it that his acting can live up to it.

The one scene I've caught online put this film right on par with the 'Pirates of Silicon Valley' made-for-TV movie that came out well over a decade ago. Similar writing, acting, production value, etc.

I think people need to recognize the fact that just because it might make for an interesting article in 'Wired,' that won't necessarily translate onto the big screen. These clowns might as well be talking about copper pipe fittings, for all I could care... computers are boring commodity-grade tools. That's all they are.

Pirates of Silicon Valley was interesting not because it was a story about computers, but because it was a story about two opposed and rival geniuses. That's what made that film worth watching.

This, this is about some cult figure. Nothing more than a hagiographic blowjob send-up of the man people credit for their ability to annoy strangers inside theaters by playing with their latest pretty toy.

And I bet they gloss over Jobs' penchant for being a total *sshole too, painting him as the genius techno-messiah as seen by most people.
