Today we have the first photo from Rachel McAdams' upcoming time-traveling comedy "About Time," which is directed by Richard Curtis (Pirate Radio, Love Actually) and is set to hit theaters on May 10th. Check out the photo below.
Plot: At the age of 21, Tim Lake (Domhnall Gleeson) discovers he can travel through time. His father (Bill Nighy) tells him that the men in his family have always had that ability. Tim can't change history, but he can change what happens in his own life - so he decides to make his world a better place... by getting a girlfriend.
Tim meets the beautiful but insecure Mary (McAdams). They fall in love, then an unfortunate time-travel incident means he's never met her at all. So they meet for the first time again - and again - but finally, he wins her heart. Tim then uses his power to create the perfect romantic proposal, to save his best friend from disaster and to get his pregnant wife to the hospital in time for the birth of their daughter.
But as his unusual life progresses, Tim finds out that his unique gift can't save him from the sorrows that affect all families, everywhere.

Isn't one time-travelling romantic box office failure(The Time Teavellers Wife) enough, Rachel? You should revisit a previous role and do a sequel to "Red Eye", entitled "Brown Eye." Axel Braun could direct.

The project is risky mixing time travelling with comedy? It's hard to enough to make a time travelling movie that people won't dismiss of having too many plot holes and STILL add comedy?! Good luck with that...the last movie that was able to accomplish that was BACK TO THE FUTURE and this Richard Curtis guy, going by his CV, is no Zemeckis.
So from the get-go this thing is gonna struggle to break even...Anyway, not too crazy about the actors either.
That Rachel McAdams has been taking the easy paycheck nowadays with these movies.
