Bruce Willis Confirmed to Return for "Sin City" SequelPosted: January 21st, 2013 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
MTV caught up with Robert Rodriguez to talk about "Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For." The director revealed that Bruce Willis will return as Hartigan and that the Dame character (Ava Lord) has yet to be cast. But an actress will be announced within the next two weeks.
"The only story we've shot is the intro story, that's completely done," said Rodriguez. "The other ones we've just sort of been piecemealing, shooting as the actors become available. All three stories have a little bit of footage to be shot."
He continued: "[Joseph Gordon-Levitt] plays a gambler. A very cocky gambler that comes in and tries to beat the biggest villain in Sin City at his own game. The story is called 'The Long Bad Night.' He beats the wrong guy at a game... bad stuff happens to him."

So everyone that died in the first one is in the second one as well?
That makes a whole mess of sense.
I wonder if the father of Jodie Foster's kids is in this as well...

Now, in an interview with Daily Mail, Hugh Jackman confirmed that stating: "Every other actor who's ever put on a superhero uniform will be in it. There's an element of time travel and, naturally, it will be action packed.

"I wonder how he'll come out if he died in the first one."
That's because "A Dame to Kill For" was the first of the Sin Ciy graphic novels. So the movie will basically be a prequel.
Explains also how Dwight had face surgery and changed his identity later on.
That goes to those wondering about Clive Owen's re-cast.

He'd return for a sequel to Charlie's Angels even if they told him he had to wear a tutu and sing castrati. He's that big of a whore these days.

Bruce Willis used to be one of the most relatable on-screen antagonists of all time.
But now, he's just a twat. Typical whorish twat, like Ahnold or Statham.

Yep, it was Ford. I don't know what Gerard's thinking most of the time. And frankly don't want to (no offence, Ger)

With two of the previous cast members dead and other characters being recast (like Miho and Dwight) the prequel will probably feel a bit disjointed.

I don't see why his character is in the movie. Hartigan is not In A Dame To Kill. Anyways, his character and Rourke's are probably the best.
