Austenland is hardly Meyer's film, she has nothing to do with project other than she's a producer which means she gave of money to it. It was a book written by someone with no connection to Meyer and was developed independent of her sh*tty vision. I haven't seen the film, but calling it Meyer's film gives it an unfair chance in the minds of people who rightfully despise her work.

It's alright. Not "Kelly's Heroes" (personal favorite), but fun nonetheless. Michael Pollard was a welcome presence too.
Didn't mind Statham's "Mechanic" it looked good for the money, and there was decent chemistry between Statham and Foster, but the story wasn't there. The original is far better, though I loathed JM Vincents mullet.
