Green Goblin to Appear in "The Amazing Spider-Man" Sequel?Posted: January 20th, 2013 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Last month it was revealed that "Chronicle" star Dane DeHaan was cast as Harry Osborn in "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel. In Sam Raimi's trilogy and in the comic books, the character is Peter Parker's best friend who eventually replaces his father as the Green Goblin.
Since "The Amazing Spider-Man" was a reboot, it was expected that DeHaan would first be Peter's friend before turning into the villain. In fact, DeHaan recently said that his character's social life will be explored in the sequel, revealing that he'll be involved in a love triangle.
But during the premiere of his "Darlings" movie at Sundance, director John Krokidas introduced DeHaan as "the Green Goblin," possibly accidentally revealing that Harry Osborn will become the Green Goblin in the second installment.

He was just teasing. There will most likely be no Green Goblin in the sequel.

Betteridge's Law of Headlines. The obvious answer is no.
And the....dude? Is that Robin from the Dark Knight Returns?
Anyway, like anyone gives a sh*t about Harry's social life and Pearl Harbor type love triangle. Just another tired Hollywood cliche, the love triangle. Why not a love square instead? Or a love dodecahedron?
Unimaginative wimps. Read some geometry.

All he did was use one of the characters vilain names. Something everyone already knows the character will eventually become. Does not mean he will be green goblin in the next one at all. That's like introducing me to a pizza but teling me its called "your sh*t". We all know a lot of food we eat eventually turns into sh*t and bombed out. But does not mean its immediate. I wanna enjoy my food, and when it wants out it wants out naturally.

@mink na this guys looks like he shouod be inviting sigourney weaver to a party in his apartment. Because this guy is a dead ringer for a early 80's rick moranis. If they do reboot ghostbusters for a new generation this guy should play his spawn

Skolnick made a very good nerd, but it was a little put on. Pocket protector, the overbite and the ugly taped glasses. All stereotypical nerdiness, especially for the time, but Moranis, now there was an absolutely NATURAL nerd. I mean, no put on. You could dress him like Bruce Wayne and he'd still be hardcore nerd.
Now, if you had said Curtis Amrstrong, aka Booger, aka Charles da Mar, aka Snot, THEN you and I might be on the same level. lol.

@mink. I still laugh uncontroallably everytime ghostbusters is on and I see one of his awkward encounters with dana in the hallway. I dare anyone to watch that sh*t and not fall over. K had it for a ringtone for awhile and got laughs everywhere I went. Classic. It was the bit about her tv being loud and so he turned his on real loud too lol
