Senators Say CIA Lied to "Zero Dark Thirty" Filmmakers, CIA Denies AllegationsPosted: January 4th, 2013 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
During the making of "Zero Dark Thirty," there were plenty of reports that the CIA and the Obama administration leaked classified details about the mission that resulted in the death of Osama Bin Laden. Now that the film is in theaters, government officials had a chance to see it and believe that the movie is presenting things incorrectly.
"Zero Dark Thirty" shows that waterboarding and similar techniques were crucial in finding Bin Laden in Pakistan, where he was killed by Navy SEALs. A 3-year Senate investigation showed that such methods of interrogation produced no useful intelligence. But CIA director Michael Morell recently contradicted the investigation, stating that waterboarding and other harsh techniques produced tips that led to Bin Laden.
In a letter to the CIA this week, Senators Dianne Feinstein and John McCain, who are both against waterboarding as a method of interrogation, asked Morell to hand over documents that were shared with the filmmakers. The CIA is cooperating.

Does it really matter what technique was used to catch the evil motherf*cker? This senator is like the Kardashians: anything for attracting the media. Or perhaps is due that the US congress is subject to a new election? Either way, it's not the best tactic to attract your vote.
Idiot.

Who the f*ck cares? It's not like The Hurt Locker was accurate. Just watch the movie and enjoy it as a movie.

Feinstein is one of those Machiavellian types, so she'd be willing to lie her ass off to achieve some silly goal and McCain has already been in this argument before where everyone else on the intell committee sound he's wrong and the water boarding was a big part of finding Bin Laden.
Also, and I know nobody wants to hear this because we pretend the man is an idiot, but President Bush has more to do with finding Bin Laden than President Obama does.

Case and point, Feinstein is always trying to chip away at the second amendment but CCWs a .357 "for protection"
Or how she wants Americans to have the sh*tty coverage of Obamacare but wants senators to keep their gold standard coverage. They were the ones who voted for act so they shouldn't have their better than most privatized plan subsidized by taxpayers any longer.

They bitched when they thought the film-makers used classified/restricted information to make a more factually realistic film, now they're bitching because the film doesn't contain enough classified/restricted facts.
f*ck off Congressional losers. Fix America you over-paid *ssholes and worry about Hollywood movies and entertainment some other year.
Worthless d*ckheads.
