Director Nicola Lopez's "Que Pena Tu Vida" and "Que Pena Tu Boda" comedies were the highest-grossing Chilean movies of 2010 and 2011. Apparently Eli Roth (Hostel, The Last Exorcism) is a big fan, because he teamed up with Lopez for an earthquake thriller, called "Aftershock."
While "Aftershock" has yet to hit theaters, Lopez's new movie, "Que Pena Tu Familia," is set to be released in Chile on January 3rd. To help promote it, Roth decided to appear as a doctor in a fake telenovela, called "Ataque Al Corazon," that the characters in "Que Pena Tu Familia" watch.
Check out the clip below to see Roth as Dr. Zacarias as he spills lots of blood and makes lots of love.

He makes funny, thought provoking movies that push the line but don't cross it; became famous personally for playing a character called "The Bear Jew"; and now has fun playing a psychopath in Spanish? Pimp.
