Back in June, it was reported that Clive Barker, the man behind the "Hellraiser" and "Candyman" franchise, was being sued by his ex-boyfriend for giving him HIV and then kicking him out on the street.
The ex-boyfriend, Emilian David Armstrong, said that Barker got HIV from his cousin, but also often engaged in drug and sex parties that involved syringes. He was suing for a cut of the profits stemming from Barker's businesses.
Now comes word that a judge reviewed the lawsuit and threw it out, calling it baseless. This is the second time that this case was thrown out. The first time, the judge gave Armstrong the chance to provide new evidence. But since Armstrong never followed through, the dismissal has now become permanent, which means that even new evidence will be ignored.
