"The Dark Knight Rises" is Most Watched Movie Trailer of 2012Submit Comment
Now that the year (and the world) is coming to an end, Google has unveiled the Top Ten list of the most-watched YouTube trailers from 2012, which combined for a total of 170 million views. The trailers are for movies, TV shows and video games.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops II" video game took the top spot. In fact, four different "Call of Duty" trailers ended up on the list. The most watched film trailer is for "The Dark Knight Rises," with "Skyfall," "Ted," and "The Hunger Games," being the only other movies.

Surprisingly, "The Avengers," which is the highest-grossing film of the year, didn't make the list. And neither did "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2." Check out the full list below.

Watched TDKR yesterday, I still can't decide if I hate it or not?

Bad

I'm gonna watch that movie again over Christmas having watched the first 2 again.

Enjoyed TDK a lot more this time round. There was a lot going on and the pace of the film kept moving along nicely (as did Batman Begins), The TDKR was very slow and plodding for me.

Glad that two of my favorite movies made it to the list!

TT- Yea there's something about it that just makes me hate it and begs that they reboot Batman ASAP.

I'm surprised Prometheus isn't listed. Had to have been one of the most highly-anticipated films, for sci-fi geeks anyway, in quite some time.

@Dheko

"Trailers considered if posted as of 11/30/12 in the U.S. View count as of 12/18/12"

But you're still winning.
