Earlier today, a photo of Tom Hardy as Max Rockatansky from the upcoming "Mad Max: Fury Road" popped up online. It's signed by Hardy at the request of one of the crew members. It wasn't clear if this was an official shot, but now comes word directly from Warner Bros, that it is. Check out the photo below.
"Mad Max: Fury Road" focuses on Mad Max (Hardy) who gets caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron). A battle erupts on the road in front of them over the course of the film as they attempt to push the rig to safer terrain.
The new movie is directed by George Miller (Happy Feet, Mad Max) and co-stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class), Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Megan Gale, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. It's set to hit theaters next year.

I don't know how to feel about this. I have fond memories of this franchise. But as we've seen countless times, whenever a filmmaker returns to his past glories, it never yields positive results.

Kinda looks like a cameo of Hardy in Zero Dark Thirty/ sh*t Locker but I have a feeling he's gonna bring a totally new look to the Mad Max franchise. Most definitely gonna sh*t on Mels performance..I think Hardy is a brilliant actor, looking forward to the trailer
