Hugh Jackman Confirmed for "X-Men: Days of Future Past"Posted: December 19th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
After director Bryan Singer announced that Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen will return as Professor X and Magneto in the upcoming "X-Men: First Class" sequel, called "X-Men: Days of Future Past," a rumor immediately popped up online claiming that Hugh Jackman was in talks to reprise his Wolverine role in the film.
Now comes word directly from Singer that Jackman is officially onboard. He wrote on Twitter: "I would officially like to welcome @RealHughJackman to the cast of #Xmen Days of Future Past. Very excited! More to come..."
It was also rumored that Halle Berry and James Marsden would return as Storm and Cyclops as well. While that has yet be confirmed, it's possible that Singer may be looking to bring back the entire original "X-Men" cast. Stay tuned.

I just wish Bryan Singer doesn't f*ck this up like he did in early X men movies.

Great! Hope Singer is as great as in the early X-Men movies. BTW, where are the usual WP trolls? Not a single message yet?! I'm confused.

Why won't this franchise die already? Put it out of it's misery and make a decent one in 30 years.

The first 2 X-Men movies were solid and well-made so i'm not sure why anyone is complaining that Bryan Singer is returning for DOFP. The Last Stand was sh*t because Brett Ratner f*cked THAT one up.

Jesus, even I could be a better director than Bryan Singer.
Wish the guy from the first one came back instead because Singer's films are always bone dry. Well made, but dry like two week old Thanksgiving turkey.

People seem to ignore a couple of facts and common knowledge concerning Singer. The majority still believe Singer's X1 and X2 were the best X-Men movies out of the first trilogy. "X-Men: First Class" was supposed to be directed by Singer, so he wrote the story. Due to other commitments, Singer had to change his directing plans though, Vaughn took over as director, Singer stayed as producer. Never underestimate the influence of a producer on the making of a movie. For "X-Men: Days of Future Past" Singer and Vaughn simply changed places, Singer is directing, Vaughn is producing and also participated in the story. It's basically the same team for the sequel.

And the people who hate First class also hate it cuz of Singer's influence. Singer is the f*cking problem, f*ck you're retarded facts.
The minute we get rid of him then the healing can begin.

For some reason I really enjoyed XFC..If Fassbender and Mcavoy deliver like they did in XFC, the ending result might be more promising then i expected..
