Since "The Expendables 2" grossed over $300 million globally, Lionsgate will likely want a third installment. There have been talks of Nicolas Cage, Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood joining the new movie, but those were all rumors. Now comes word directly from Jackie Chan that Sylvester Stallone asked him to be in "The Expendables 3."
"Sly had invited me to be in 'Expendables 2,' but I was too busy filming 'CZ12' and couldn't make a commitment to the film," said the actor. "But he did extend his invitation to the third movie, which I agreed on the condition that I will be appearing as more than just a minor role with a few scenes."
Chan also said that he will soon begin work on "Skip Tracer," a new movie that co-stars Chris Tucker. "The script is currently [being read] by Chris Tucker," he revealed. "Personally, I feel that it would be better if we turned it into 'Rush Hour 4.'"
