Today we have a new trailer for the upcoming "Bates Motel" TV series, which is a prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" film. The new show stars Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates and Vera Farmiga as the mother, Norma. Check out the trailer below, which also provides some interviews and behind-the-scene footage.
"Bates Motel" gives viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates' psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn first hand how his mother, Norma, and her love damaged Norman, helped forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history.
The new show also stars Max Thierot (House at the End of the Street) as Norman's older brother. It has already been greenlit for ten episodes and will premiere in March of 2013.

I know that Highmore can make a good performance of Bates together with Farmiga. But the problem I have with this one is, they bring Norman to modern age with IPod and Neon girls. It doesn't look that catch the magic of Hitchc*ck masterpiece. They totally ruined it!!!!!!
