Dennis Haysbert to Replace Michael Clarke Duncan in "Sin City 2"

Dennis Haysbert to Replace Michael Clarke Duncan in "Sin City 2"Submit Comment
"Sin City" sequel, called "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," is moving forward. And while most of the cast is returning, including Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Jaime King and Rosario Dawson, the late Michael Clarke Duncan won't be back.

THR has now learned that Dennis Haysbert, who played the US president on "24," is in negotiations to replace Duncan as Manute, the brutal and seemingly unstoppable right-hand man of Ava's husband.

"Manute is a character that has been part of the heart of the 'Sin City' tales, and the late Michael Clarke Duncan beautifully established that role onscreen," said directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller. "We could not tell the story of 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' without Manute and are thrilled to welcome Dennis Haysbert to the cast."

Hope he gets it. He's been a favorite of mine since Thirteenth Floor and 24.

Haysbert isn't black. At least I don't think he is. Lemme check his Wiki to see if he's been arrested before.

*click*

Nope. He's not black.

"the late Michael Clarke Duncan won't be back."

Well no sh*t, what were they gonna do? Dig him up, put a hand up his and make him a puppet?

Hey Kevin Clash, you might get a call to do some work here soon with your unemployed pedo ass. Don't count on it though!!

lol Mink, The Unit was an awful show but I liked it for Haysbert too and also Robert Patrick.

He will be a good replacement for the Manute character. I also like Haysbert's voicework in the Splinter Cell games on Sam Fisher's ear intercom. Him and Michael Ironside are 2 cool voices talking during those games.

@Phoenix Fire - Name one long term, Democratically controlled city that has actually made a difference with black America. Let's see, Detroit... nope; Washington DC... nope; Baltimore... nope; Miami... nope; Los Angeles... nope, Buffalo... nope; Oakland... nope; Cleveland... nope; St Louis... nope. In face most of those cities make up the list for the most dangerous in America.

So tell me, after years and years of DNC policies what American city has broken the inner city cycles of crime and poverty? The strongest Economic city and states have used Conservative (notice I didn't say GOP, because the Republican party is just as ridiculous as the Democratic party) policies.

EMPHASIZE STRONG FAMILIES & SUPPORT GROUPS AND TEACH PEOPLE TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES AND THE WORLD BECOMES A BETTER PLACE.

Keep the government away from socialism and let churches, community groups and non profit organizations handle those issues. Those groups can handle socialism without becoming as power hungry and corrupt.

Liberals want black people right where they are.

They demand black victimology.

How else can they own them but through racial bogeymen?
FBO writes:

Right?! They get loyal voters using a stick, a string, and a carrot. And they confuse the facts because hard data (from legitimate sociologists, for instance) proves them wrong.
Stapes writes:

FBO, sociolologist are nothing more than dumbasses who wish they were scientists. Any *sshole can be a sociologist.

You guys should check out Haysbert in the recent film "The Details" btw. Its one of his best performances imo.

FBO writes:

@Stapes - Thank you for proving my point.

Sociologists are marginalized because their findings don't jive with horsesh*t which makes horsesh*t harder to sell. And if you can't argue the facts then you argue against the fact finder. It's called ad hominem and politicians of all parties do it.

And BTW, any *sshole can become a scientist too.

I love this guy. For as long as I live, I'll never forget how hard I laughed at him in Jarhead when he brought a folding chair to sit in while he completely stole Jake Gyllenhaal's only potential kill.

"Bad knees. College football. Watch this. It'll blow your f*cking minds."

Elmo has got to be pissed about that whole situation. I mean, here he is listening to all these guys talk about Clash sticking things up their asses and he's got to be thinking to himself: "28 years this jackass has been fisting me to my eyeballs on national television and no one has said boo about it, what the hell?!"
