Joss Whedon Already Submitted "The Avengers 2" Outline

Joss Whedon Already Submitted "The Avengers 2" OutlineSubmit Comment
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Joss Whedon revealed that he's preparing to shoot the pilot episode of Marvel's "SHIELD" TV series. He also said that he just turned in an outline for the 2015 "The Avengers" sequel.

The studio has set "The Avengers 2" for May 1st, 2015 and will likely go into production around April of 2014. Since Whedon just submitted an outline, it will give him over a year to put together a script.

While very little is known about the story, it's rumored that Thanos will be the main villain, as hinted by the post-credits scene in "The Avengers." Casting has yet to be announced, but Robert Downey, Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson are all expected to return.

Ooooh. Star Wars 7 versus Avengers 2. Disney versus Disney.

In ten years, there will be two studios making movies: MGM, and everyone else, and I'm not really sure about MGM.

downloaded the first, don't know if seeing this, then, I hope not, I don't care anymore about this stuff, maybe I feel envy, for those who might know.

Possibly the best news i've heard all year and they wait 'till the end of year to dish it out.

But is this even news? Essentially, it’s: "They’re making the Avengers 2!" ...which we all know was happening anyways.

At this rate I expect further updates will involve Whedon proof reading his 3rd draft while sitting on the toilet.

The Forehead has spoken. Move along...

Not that anyone gives a sh*t, but technically they should be called The Revengers, as avenge is actually only used as a verb to denote action, whereas revenge can be both a noun or a verb.

I know, I know. You're all just totally thrilled by this revelation.

"The Revengers and (useless) Friends"

Seriously, get rid of Hawkeye and Black Widow, they're f*cking pointless. I know they won't though, because Whedon has a fetish for chicks beating up dudes and Hollywood thinks we want Renner in every film being made.

You're right about the studio prediction, mink. Colleges are headed in the same direction, so is everything else, it's the singularity.

if they get rid of Black widow.then it'll be a queerfest so I rather see some hot bimbo with a tight outfit pretending to beat up the enemies.
SEX SELLS.

Thanos? really? f*cking Thanos? wow...the least realistic villain out of all the f*cking villains, un fu ck in gb el ie va bl e.

He needs a year to write a script? These timelines are getting ridiculously long. Not that anyone is waiting for them... but James Cameron talks about his projects YEARS from now. Get it together.

thanos imperative - A cocoon protected by the Universal Church of Truth is revealed to be hiding Thanos, who has been chosen by Oblivion to be the new Avatar of Death. Resurrected before his mind could be fully formed, Thanos goes on a mindless rampage before being captured by the Guardians of the Galaxy. Thanos pretends to aid the Guardians against the invading Cancerverse, and after discovering its origin kills an alternate version of Mar-Vell, the self-proclaimed Avatar of Life. This causes the collapse of the Cancerverse, with Guardians Nova and Star-Lord sacrificing themselves to contain Thanos inside the imploding reality. LSD much?

Thanos can literally only be beaten if he WANTS to lose. How could anyone write that into a believable movie?
