Lionsgate has unveiled the first TV Spot for the upcoming "Texas Chainsaw 3D," which is a sequel to Tobe Hooper's 1974 "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre." Check it out below.
Plot: A young woman (Alexandra Daddario) travels to Texas to collect an inheritance; little does she know that an encounter with a chainsaw-wielding killer is part of the reward.
The new movie is directed by John Luessenhop (Takers) and is set to hit theaters on January 4th, 2013.

Any horror film with 3D at the end automatically makes me think: Things Flying At Your Face in Gimicky Ways: The Movie.
To be fair even the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" part of the title puts me off straight away, are they still rebooting the same sh*tty horror characters. If you want to see something genuinely scary in an old school kind of way watch American Horror Story. That's what horror should be like.

I wonder if Ed Gein ever imagined the sort of nonsense his one murder and various grave-robbing lamp shape making tomfoolery would start, and if he did, could he have possibly imagined it would go on this f*cking long?
