"TMNT" Creator Compares Reboot to "The Avengers," Corey Feldman May Return as DonatelloPosted: November 22nd, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" co-creator Peter Laird has been very critical of the upcoming reboot, to be produced by Michael Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans). But the other creator, Kevin Eastman, who's actually involved with the project, has been incredibly optimistic.
In an recent interview with NBC, Eastman compared the reboot to some of the most popular films of the last two years. "From what I’ve seen of the script, it's fantastic," he said. "We're talking about being inspired by movies like 'The Avengers' for scope and roots origin and 'The Raid: Redemption' for fight scenes and 'Rise for the Apes' as far as computer-quality style."
Meanwhile, Corey Feldman revealed that there's a chance he may return to voice Donatello. "Michael Bay and I have become social acquaintances. We have traded cell phone numbers. We have been in communication," he said. "I have let him know that I support the project. He has let me know that he is a fan of my work. We are communicating. I wouldn't say there has been a formal offer, or anything like that. It's not even really going to be Michael Bay's decision. It's going to be the director's decision."

I don't know man, 'till this day haven't read the comics, only saw the 3 films loved the first two more than anything specially the second installment mostly because of the very short but tremendously choreographed final battle scene.
