"Paranormal Activity 4" hit theaters about a month ago, grossing $135 million globally. The result is by far the worst in the franchise. The film also has a lousy 25% fresh rating on RottenTomatoes, also the worst out of the four installments.
Despite such disappointing results, "Paranormal Activity 4" was still a massive hit since it cost only $5 million to make. And because of that, Paramount Pictures has decided to move forward with a fifth film.
"Paranormal Activity 5" is set to hit theaters on October 25th, 2013. No word if the directing team of Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman will return. Stay tuned.
