Last week it was reported that Sony Pictures is searching for an actor to play the role of Harry Osborn in "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel. The first four actors who tested for the part were Brady Corbet (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Dane DeHaan (Chronicle) and Alden Ehrenreich (Stoker).
THR has now learned that four more actors are set to audition, including Douglas Booth (Noah), Sam Claflin (Snow White and the Huntsman), Boyd Holbrook (The Host) and Eddie Redmayne (My Week with Marilyn).
The newspaper added that the character (played by James Franco in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" trilogy) will be charismatic and athletic, instead of dark and edgy as previously reported.
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will be directed by Marc Webb and star Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley (as Mary Jane Watson), and Jamie Foxx (as Electro). It's set to hit theaters on May 2nd, 2014.

This loser patriot poster is just trolling. Which is really sad if you realize that it's more than likely America will be broke in less than four years, in no small part thanks to the guy this fool voted for, and yet he calls himself a "patriot". Either unintentionally ironic, or just downright stupid. I'm betting on the latter.
Anyway. I must be getting old, because not one of those actors I recognize, and more importantly, as watchable as the first Webb film, I get the feeling the second is going to be even more of a deliberate retelling of the Raimi yarns.
At the very least, Webb could make a more original film; it's like watching some guy perform sloppy seconds on a cheap whore while watching a video of the first guy's bang session.
