New Photos from Riddick, Fast and Furious 6, Elysium, and Only God ForgivesPosted: November 19th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

  Today we have the first photo of Karl Urban returning as Vaako in the third "Riddick" film, two new photos of Vin Diesel from "Fast and Furious 6," a new photo of Matt Damon in "Elysium" sci-fi film, and a look at a beat-up Ryan Gosling in "Only God Forgives." Check everything out below.
Vin Diesel and Katee Sackhoff co-star in "Riddic," which is once again directed by David Twohy. The R-rated film is set to hit theaters in 2013. "Fast and Furious 6" co-stars Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans, Joe Taslim and Gina Carano, and set to hit theaters on May 24, 2013.
"Elysium" co-stars Sharlto Copley, Wagner Moura, Alice Braga, and Diego Luna, and is set to hit theaters on August 9th, 2013. "Only God Forgives" re-teams Gosling with his "Drive" director Nicholas Winding Refn. It has yet to be acquired for distribution.

Jordana Brewster looks like she finally ate some food, which is a good thing.
Damon looks like he’s channeling Arnold as Mr. Freeze.
Gosling is still trying desperately to improve his tough guy image by NOT looking like a mopey-faced pretty boy from the Mickey Mouse club. Trying and failing.
Urban needs to say f*ck-off to Ridd*ck and go make some Dredd 2.

First one: more Chronicles of Ridd*ck bullsh*t, it appears.
Second one: Vin flick two on the list looks like stills from another Fast Five or another XXX. Not like I care in either case.
Third set: Damon's playing Locutus of Borg.
Fourth: Ryan Gosling playing Shia LeBeouf.
And you're missing a K there, Alex. See if you can find it, mmmmkay?

I could have sworn that Mark Vincent killed Karl Urban's character in Chronicles of Ridd*ck. I enjoyed that movie because it was mostly a remake of David Lynch's Dune, cheesy overblown sci-fi that reminded me of the 80's. If Ridd*ck is more of that then count me in.
Fast 5 was the first decent movie in the F&F franchise and Fast 6 is a direct sequel to it. Them bringing back Michelle Rodruguez's character who was thought to be dead is a unique idea and it will be interesting to see how this is explained.
I don't know much about Elysium except for the comicon teaser description but District 9 was a great movie and I doubt Neil Blomkamp will make a bad followup film. A lot of the concept art and production design for his scuttled HALO film has now been used for Elysium to some degree.
Nicholas Winding Refn has never made a bad film. His Pusher trilogy is sick and fascinating and insane to watch and I Bronson and Valhalla Rising are very good too. Drive was an instant classic and Only God Forgives sounds very promising as well.
Ryan Gosling is solid actor and has never done a bad performance yet so deriding his makeup in a poster design is childish at best.

Jesus, someone has a man-crush on Gosling.
And since when is Chronicles of Ridd*ck a remake of Dune? Really?
In other news, Taken is a remake of that dream I had five years ago wherein I kidnapped young sexy chicks and raped them repeatedly to Phil Collins 'In the Air Tonight'.

lol @ man crush on Gosling. I'm just saying he's not a sh*t actor. He gave good performances in Half Nelson, Lars and the Real Girl, Blue Valentine, Drive, and The Ides of March.
COR did remind me of Dune a lot. The costumes, production design, and overall tone of the film is lifted directly from Dune. If Dune was never made COR would not have either or would have looked completely different as a film.

BTW Drive was a f*cking joke. How the hell do you take a movie seriously that tries to make Droopy Gosling and Albert Brooks badasses? The film was total sh*t with one (maybe 2) good scenes (that last for a total of about 10 secs).

@SAC: Agreed.
Also, it shouldn't be called "Drive"; a mere 2 car scenes as the title is misleading the enire story. Quite disappointed.

Drive is a hell of a film one of my favorite films in recent memory and Albert Brooks should have won Best Supporting Actor for his performance. He has NEVER played an antagonist/villain before and to knock it out of the f*cking park the way he did is a masterclass example of great acting and SACDaddy is a f*cking idiot to dis his performance.
The Academy instead gave BSA to Christopher Plummer for playing an old gay in a movie no one even saw.
As for the title 'Drive', it's symbolic of not just The Driver being a stunt driver but his internal drive to lat a f*cking warpath on every last person that caused Standard to die and his son to not have a father and them threatening his widow as well.
Try to think a little bit sometimes.

" Albert Brooks should have won Best Supporting Actor for his performance"
Sorry, but Nick Nolte should've won that oscar. Warrior was way overlooked, just beacause it had a mixed martial arts premise involved, if it was just boxing would've won 2 or 3 oscars.

@Deaft0ne
No matter how much you like the film; the plot is very basic and predictable: a very lonely stunt drive goes on a rampage revenge for the sake of a girl he barely knew.
I don't need to think more than this.
Having said that, Brooks was quite good according to his screen presence. Nothing more.
