Tom Hardy Cast in "Splinter Cell" Video Game MovieSubmit Comment
We've been talking about a "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell" movie, based on the popular video game, for many years. Then in June came word that several studios were interested in acquiring the film rights to the franchise.

While the property has yet find a home with any studio, Ubisoft, the maker of the game, has attached Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises) to play the lead role. In addition, Eric Warren Singer (The International) has been brought on to write the script.

"Splinter Cell" revolves around Sam Fisher, a covert operative assigned to a top-secret National Security Agency branch called the Third Echelon.

As long as they using Michael ironside's voice, I think it's ok.

That would be f*cking hilarious if they actually did that. I do think they should still have Dennis Haysbert on his com though like in the games.

Originally Travolta was up for the role but later dropped out when he realized the film was not titled "Sphincter Cell".

I hate Hardy's face. Is like the poster child face for chugging c*ck.

I can see it now....105 minutes of stealthy kills mixed in with Bane doing Bale Batman voice to try and sound like the character in the Video game. That should be unintentionally hilarious. If the action is done well enough, probably worth a rent
