Arnold Schwarzenegger has been talking about making a "Twins" sequel ever since he returned to acting. While he never confirmed anything, one of the ideas floating around is that the new movie, called "Triplets" will focus on Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito finding out that there's a third twin, possibly played by Eddie Murphy.
Now comes word that Josh Gad and Ryan Dixon have signed on to write the script for "Triplets." Schwarzenegger and DeVito are already attached, and so is Murphy. Ivan Reitman, who directed the first film, will return to produce.
In a recent interview, Schwarzenegger commented on the movie, stating: "I can see a billboard with us three. 'They found another one!' 'Triplets!' 'Only their mother can tell them apart!' I would do that in two seconds, because that's real entertainment."

Back to the topic at hand, this movie could work given that the majority of the talent behind the first one is back on board for the sequel! However, given Murphy's dwindling prowess onscreen, hopefully a decent script can rekindle that spark he once had, and salvage his ego that once shone in front of the camera after his lacklustre performances of late!
