People's Choice Awards Nominees Announced

The 2013 People's Choice Awards nominees were announced today with Channing Tatum, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone leading with the most nominations in movie categories. Tatum, who was just named the Sexiest Man Alive, received four nominations, while Lawrence and Stone received three each.

The list of nominees shows that there's plenty of interest in superhero films, with "The Dark Knight Rises," "The Amazing Spider-Man," and "The Avengers" dominating in most categories.

Over 93 million votes were used to determine the nominees and to choose new categories, like the new Fan Following category which was created to recognize franchises like "Twilight" and "Harry Potter."
