First Look: Tom Cruise in "All You Need is Kill" Sci-Fi FilmSubmit Comment
Today we have the first photo of Tom Cruise from the upcoming "All You Need is Kill" sci-i film, showing the actor in an exoskeleton suit running away from a blast. Check it out below.

In the movie, Cruise is a new recruit who gets killed in action but, in "Groundhog Day" fashion, is reborn each day to fight and die again and again. He begins trying to train himself to be a better soldier in hopes of changing his fate.

Emily Blunt plays a fellow soldier who has figured out the time loop. Bill Paxton plays a tough platoon sergeant.

"All You Need is Kill" is directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) and is set to hit theaters on March 14th, 2014.

Holy sh*t, this has to be a parody right? This isn't a real movie is it? I honestly laughed when I saw this pic. Please help me understand this madness.

Dude, Doug Liman directed "Jumper". Hummm yeah. This has potential to suck.

The only person to figure out the time loop is the hot british chic

Has this been Scientology approved??

Still just finding new ways to film Tom Cruise running on screen. Bet if you put all of his run sequences together the guy has circled the globe a few times.

I've already seen this. It was called Source Code and it was sh*t .
pornfly writes:

I hope Bill Paxton says,"GAME OVER,MAN.GAME OVER"
in the time loop so he says it over and over

That exo-suit is COOL, he looks like hes five feet tall!
He must have to wear that to combat female soldiers so he doesnt accidentally touch boob
McQueen writes:

It didn't work for the Source Code and this one has the same inspiration.

And Cruise still looks short even with that "exoskeleton suit".

Are the titles to these projects just getting further away from describing the film or is it just me ? " All you need is kill " of course when I hear that I think time travel and exoskeleton wearing future soldiers ... (sar)

Really, can anyone explain why Tom Cruise runs in all his movies? Does he like seeing himself run? Is it on his bucket list to run in every city in the world? Is he running from his past, running away from his future? When he gets to the set does the director ask him,, Tom so what can you do? I can run....
I haven't seen rock of ages, does he run in that too?

"Bill Paxton plays a tough platoon sergeant."

No. No the f*ck he does not.
Bill Paxton plays a tool, because that is all he is capable of being.
Go stand in line (against your better judgement) for 40 minutes to ride the Twister ride at Universal Studios- just to have 60% of the "ride" be a video of Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt reminding you how dangerous tornadoes really are.

f*ck you, Bill Paxton.
Your death will be my holiday.
MovieQueen87 writes:

How can he be a "new" recruit if he's 50 years old? Seriously, if he actually could act he wouldn't need to do all this action bull%^&* to hide the fact that he can't
AngryBird writes:

It's just Tom running from his gay thoughts.
sedibus writes:
on November 10th, 2012 at 1:06:57 AM

I mean, they should have taken a more young actor or at least...,

you know, who gives a sh*t, although it do really makes sense to who is going to interpret the character,

so, again going back in a time loop to the "at least..." paragraph, this bastards should had based the armours on the designs by Yosh*toshi ABe.

Hell, they should have paid the guy, for Christ f*cking sakes!
SoftimusPrime writes:

In the movie they're fighting aliens and "Bill Paxton plays a tough platoon sergeant."

Oh well, if it all goes south, maybe they could build a fire, sing a couple of songs, huh?
Kurskij writes:

This is the worst title for a film that I have ever heard. It annoys me how epically lame it is.
sedibus writes:
on November 10th, 2012 at 7:00:44 PM

Well, Tony, the title is the same as the book this film is based on "All You Need is Kill" by Japanese author Hiroshi Sakurazaka.

You know, the title they were using at first was even lamer than this, which was "We Mortals Are".

Of course, it all depend on tastes.

Sounds like a hugely lame version of that X-Files episode Monday.
