"Need for Speed" Plot Details RevealedSubmit Comment
"Captain America" actor Dominic Cooper is in negotiations to join Aaron Paul ("Breaking Bad") and Imogen Poots (Fright Night) in DreamWorks' "Need for Speed" movie, based on the popular video game franchise.

Story follows an underground racecar driver (Paul) who owns a garage that modifies expensive cars to make them faster for racing. Framed and sent to prison when his best friend is murdered during a race, he seeks revenge upon his release.

Cooper will play Dino, an ex-NASCAR driver who uses his connections to the wealthy to create a business rebuilding and modifying supercars. Poots will play an exotic car dealer who does business with Paul and Cooper.

The new movie is directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor) and is set to hit theaters on February 7th, 2014.

Cars go zoom. There's your plot.

And this trash sounds like Drive, Fast and the Furious, Faster, Gone in 60 Seconds, and a hundred other car-oriented movies.

They should have compensated for the fact they're adapting not just a video game, but a *racing* video game, which already has zero story, by giving the film something of an original plot.

"No Need to Read" that synopsis

@mink what's wrong with drive?
bandolero999 writes:

Drive sucked ballz cause Christina Hendricks didn't show her funbagz.
minkowski writes:

^^Did I say there was something wrong with Drive? I said this Need for Speed bullsh*t is based on a highly unoriginal premise, that is, racing cars, so because of that fact, they should have tried to do something somewhat original with its plot instead of stealing from ten other previous, and superior, films.

An Attempt at a plot? Wow this really will fail then.

"Christina Hendricks didn't show her funbagz."

Only because they couldn't afford to shoot in EYEMAX.

They better sign Nicholas Cage. He surely has need....for money.

Sh!t, Mink, Hendricks was made for a 3D movie!!

Imagine seeing those knockers in all their heavenly glory!! With 3D, it'd like one could just grab'em to squeeze...

I'm just waiting for Vivid to corner that market...LOL!!

Of course we live in a world where a movie based on a series of Sub-par and unimaginative racing video games gets greenlit and casted faster than videogames that would be much more interesting, like Viva Pinata, Mass Effect, or Heavy Rain.

Can't stop farting trough all this stupid storyboard script piece of junk.

Lame, lame, lame, like George Lucas pretending Star Wars is where it all started off, like as if it was the real big bang and after his movie was released then all alternative universes came to exist, Star Wars is the reason Lensman, H.G. Wells, Van Vogt, Asimov, Kubrick, Lem, Bradbury exist.

You only need to take a look a the man (Lucas) himself, he is the f*cking Messiah goddamit and as Seth Rogen said in one of this post a while ago right here:

"During my visit at Skywalker Ranch to suck my Masonic Master George, right after his sperm exploded into my face, he said to me that the worlds was going to end 2012".

f*ck Lucas and his f*cking piece of sh*t predictions he and the Wachowskis can take a Pacific Rim job into their streched Armstrong asses and be happy and stop f*cking around with all their plastic travesty style movies.

Bwahahahaha! Already FAIL!

And Dominic can do much better than this video game thing.

lol is this actually happening?

Of course it is, these games have pretty much zero plot, so they're perfect for adaptation in Hollywood, where most things have no plot.
