"Need for Speed" Plot Details Revealed

And this trash sounds like Drive, Fast and the Furious, Faster, Gone in 60 Seconds, and a hundred other car-oriented movies.

They should have compensated for the fact they're adapting not just a video game, but a *racing* video game, which already has zero story, by giving the film something of an original plot.

^^Did I say there was something wrong with Drive? I said this Need for Speed bullsh*t is based on a highly unoriginal premise, that is, racing cars, so because of that fact, they should have tried to do something somewhat original with its plot instead of stealing from ten other previous, and superior, films.

An Attempt at a plot? Wow this really will fail then.

Of course we live in a world where a movie based on a series of Sub-par and unimaginative racing video games gets greenlit and casted faster than videogames that would be much more interesting, like Viva Pinata, Mass Effect, or Heavy Rain.

Of course it is, these games have pretty much zero plot, so they're perfect for adaptation in Hollywood, where most things have no plot.
