Imogen Poots is Female Lead in "Need for Speed" Video Game FilmPosted: November 1st, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
It was recently reported that "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul was cast as the male lead in the upcoming "Need for Speed" movie, which is based on the popular Electronic Arts video game.
Now comes word that Imogen Poots (Fright Night) will play the female lead, a savvy exotic car dealer who connects the wealthy with high-end supercars. DreamWorks says the movie will be "rooted in the tradition of the great car-culture films of the '70s while being extremely faithful to the spirit of the video game franchise."
Scott Waugh, a co-director on "Act of Valor," will direct "Need for Speed," which is set to hit theaters on February 7th, 2014.

Beautiful girl, and I think if I can sit through 90 minutes of Cage and his hair stealing cars in Gone in 60 Seconds, I can probably sit through this, even if it is yet another generic teen-casted flick.
