Joseph Gordon-Levitt Would Consider Joining "Justice League of America"

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Would Consider Joining "Justice League of America"Submit Comment
It has already been confirmed that "The Dark Knight Rises" didn't attempt to set up future installments by introducing Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Robin or as someone who would take over for Batman. The idea was that anyone can become a hero.

But fans are still eager to see Gordon-Levitt return to the Batman franchise, and it seem that the actor is not against it. While promoting "Lincoln," he was asked if he would be interested in joining the cast of "Justice League of America," Gordon-Levitt replied: "You never know. If the script inspires me and if there's a filmmaker that I respect and connect to... I'd consider anything."

Warner Bros has already confirmed that it's planning to begin filming "Justice League" next year for a Summer 2015 release, the same summer that "The Avengers 2" hits theaters.

Jgl and guns don't mix.talking about the picture

He should play batgirl or stick to dramatic roles

I would love to see him in the justice league as Batman. If anything at least Nightwing.

well since he appears in every movie that comes out these days it doesn't really matter

If he were to buff up to look like a grown man at least, I'd be open to this.

When Spock said: 'Nothing un-real exists.'

He was talking about the JLA.

@Killer

Well, he is a tad bigger than he was in TDKR.

Also, WB are just asking for it, don't they?

They have sh*tty Green Lantern movie, no Superman as of yet, Bale unwilling to return as Batman and no other f*ckers whatever their names are lined up. Yet they release it in the same summer as Avengers 2.

Nothing can possibly go wrong.

He's still so small doh
Ranger writes:

They'll get Chris Evans to play all the JLA Super-Heroes for only $300K a piece.

But still...I think it'd just be real stupid to make a Justice League movie without Bruce Wayne. Unless they somehow made a Justice League using members of the Titans instead.

I mean do you really wanna see Clark Kent and John Robin Blake over Kent and Wayne?

So, let me get this straight; most of the people on this site didn't like Christian Bale as Batman (at least his voice). Somebody asked JGL a hypothetical lesson to join JLA movie, (not even mentioning Batman) and now everyone has a problem with it?

Personally, I'd consider JGL as Batman or even Green Lantern (assuming Ryan Reynolds isn't available). And remember, this is Warner Bros, not Marvel. Marvel's the one that screws over talent to keep costs down. I believe Warner will learn from their mistake and do what it takes to make a JLA film done right. (assuming they learned from past mistakes)

@jikae - hey, if you're going to cloud this site with common sense and logic, there's no place for you here bud.

straight up.

no don't want him as batman. robin or nightwing yes but not batman
Bunny X writes:

Personally, JGL is a lot better than a big portion of actors out there. I like the kid. I'd much rather see him in these roles than Timberlake that's for sure. And the fact that he's NOT a Brit is refreshing.
As far as JL, what's the point of doing a JL movie if you're not doing it with a Bruce Wayne'd Batman? Makes no sense. And I tought Nolan's punk ass made it clear that his Batman is not in that DC universe. That would negate any chances of him in any role in JL. Yes, yes, I know that has been disproven before with Evans, Elba, and Reynolds in multiple hero roles, but it would be crossing not only that line but the Nolan line as well.
Now if the Nolan universe line is erased, then an acceptable scenario would be to have JGL in the JL movie as his version of Batman and have something happen to him to where Bruce Wayne comes out of retirement to "right" the ship and push JGL into a Nightwing-ish role.

I just hope that the JL movie comes out right. It needs the right story and a very well written one.
