Today we have the official trailer for "Safe Haven," which is based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, Dear John), and stars Josh Duhamel, Julianne Hough, David Lyons and Cobie Smulders. Check it out below.
Plot: When a mysterious young woman (Hough) arrives in a small North Carolina town, her reluctance to join the tight knit community raises questions about her past. Slowly, she begins putting down roots, and gains the courage to start a relationship with Alex (Duhamel), a widowed store owner with two young children. But dark secrets intrude on her new life with such terror that she is forced to rediscover the meaning of sacrifice and rely on the power of love in this deeply moving romantic thriller.
The new movie is directed by Lasse Hallstrom (Dear John, The Cider House Rules) and set to hit theaters on February 8th, 2013.
I wonder if Josh has let it slip out around Fergie that the Black Eyed Peas suck?

Ah Nicholas Sparks. The king of writing books about blandly attractive idiots in quiet small towns who fall in love but don't f*ck because no reason. And now with new partner-in-crime Lasse Hallstrom, crown prince of Miramax mediocrity, he'll be unstoppable.

"I wish someone would murder Nicholas Sparks and hang his body in front of Stephanie Meyer's house as a warning."
f*ck it kill em both, hang em side by side, so the next wannabe see's em and cowers in fear never to write a novel like that ever again.
Mink wins the thread . How many times can you write the same goddamn book , and women are dumb enough to buy it ... :L

Looks frustrating. I think we should throw Sparks off a bridge with Stephanie Meyer as the target under it.
A Double splat two for one.

@mink then afterwards they should dump the body in the middle of the desert with multiple HD cameras set up for live feed. Let the WORLD watch what nature will do. Vultures tear that sh*t apart. That would stop an entire generation from creating similar craps stories.

And guess who would be forced to watch this when it comes out?
I want to hang Nicholas Sparks personally so I don't have to endure his bullsh*t anymore!
