Last "Twilight" Film May Surpass "The Dark Knight" at Box Office

Last "Twilight" Film May Surpass "The Dark Knight" at Box OfficeSubmit Comment
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" was released last year and went on to gross $138 million during its first weekend. That is one of the highest openings ever, but still less than "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," which hit theaters in 2009 and grossed $142 million in its first three days.

Now comes word that "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," the last installment in the franchise, is on pace to grab an even higher opening than "New Moon." According to MovieTickets.com, the film has already pre-sold 27% more tickets than "Breaking Dawn - Part 1."

It's still too early to predict how much the film will gross during its opening weekend, but some say that it may have the power to reach the opening numbers of "The Dark Knight Rises," which grossed $160 million in the first three days.

"Breaking Dawn - Part 2" is set to hit theaters on November 15th at 10pm.

Well, there are a lot of f*cking stupid people who like these films. That's right. If you like the "Twilight" movies, you are a f*cking sh*thead. Please eat poisoned sh*t and die. I'm tired of pulling up behind you and seeing "Twi-hard" bumper stickers. Go find a tire fire and throw yourself upon it.

Remember when all the pussies were whipping their boyfriends or f*ck friends to go watch every other Twilight? now this being the last movie of the series (as we know of), all these pussies are gonna try to beat any record out there... I'll call this the revenge of the c*nts!

We need a TKKK, Twilight KU Klux Klan, to go in opening weekend and lay waste to all of em.

Terrible news but these weird fans are like a plague hopefully the end of this will shut them up for good!!

On a lighter note, Bullit has yet to return, I hope he died a painful death in Paris ( fictitious or not )

This means never underestimate the power of the lonely girls and neglected housewives...

I mean, they'r the ones that help make soap operas last for DECADES, SEX IN THE CITY franchise and Lifetime channel a success you know...

Message read loud and clear!
The fan base is not very known, you know, like the tweens demographic was 10 years ago.

The only reason this 'news' even exists, I suspect, is for the sheer pleasure of watching one rabid fanbase set upon another, in the hopes of seeing a Hatfield-McCoy like feud across the internet.

Some people just want to see the world burn, I guess.

Hate to say it but other than for its acting, This will probably be a better movie than TDKR.

^^^"Some say" is a catch-all for people inventing bullsh*t, because you can always find two idiots who agree on the most insane, inane idea(s).

Well, at Batman you would only worry about being hit with bullets. At a Twatlight showing you'd be worried about getting hit with AIDS!

After reading the article and all the comments the only thing I can say is... Wow. Especially to Killerc*ck's comment... haha
KillerCOck writes:

hahaha! TDKR was sucha bad movie. It was barely even entertaining. Now I don't enjoy any of the Twilight movie but I've seen all but the last one dat came out, I'm in a house full of girls.

I personally don't think it's hard for any movie to be better than TDKR and it's just sad that I really do believe that a Twilight movie will not only be better but It will top TDKR cuz its da last in the series, Girls obsess over this sh*t.

When you factor in today's standard of comic book movies, I feel that TDKR was this years Spider-man 3. It suffered from all the same problems and turned into complete crap.

Only reason why Spider- man 3 might get away with it more is because it was intentionally campy and embraced a comic book tone where TDKR is dramatic and serious in tone but was f*cking ridiculous.
