Joe Carnahan Unveils Pitch Video for Failed "Gemini Man," with Clint Eastwood Posted: October 10th, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
When director Joe Carnahan (The Grey, The A-Team) heard that 20th Century Fox was planning to reboot "Daredevil", he put together a short trailer-like video to give Fox an idea of what he would do with the franchise. The video (watch here) was compiled using footage from other movies, which is a common practice in Hollywood. In fact, the majority of directors have had to put together one of these when going after studio projects. Depending on the director and the film, the videos can cost a significant amount of money and can take weeks to produce. And in majority of cases, all the hard work is for nothing. That's what happened with Carnahan after Fox rejected his "Daredevil" pitch, and it happened again when Warner Bros rejected his pitch for "Gemini Man." The studio instead went with director Curtis Hanson (LA Confidential) and writer David Benioff (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Troy). And eventually, the entire project fell apart. This is why Carnahan has unveiled his pitch video. Watch it below. "Gemini Man" revolves around an old hitman who is forced to do battle with a younger clone of himself. Carnahan was hoping to cast Clint Eastwood in the lead role.

AND THAT'S STRIKE TWO, CARNAHAN!!
F*ck...it's been harder to get some work after A-TEAM, huh?
THE GRAY should have evened the odds though...

At Clint's age, it should have been called Bicentennial Man, but Chris Columbus already made that one.
Interestingly enough, the killer in Dirty Harry is named Scorpio.

I watched Cabin in the Woods the other night, Wasn't too bad, Kinda cool with all the monsters tearing it up in the last 1/4 of the film.

Bullsh*t. Just torrent a bunch of old flicks and sloppily edit them together with a sh*tty song. Doesn't cost sh*t or time.
