Famke Janssen May Return as Jean Grey in "X-Men: First Class" SequelPosted: October 2nd, 2012 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
20th Century Fox is developing a sequel to "X-Men: First Class," which will feature time-traveling at the center of its story. Because of that, Patrick Stewart was recently asked if there's a chance he may reprise the role of Professor X in any upcoming "X-Men" films. "I think there is every possibility," he said. "Yes, I'll be reprising [the role of Professor X]."
MTV News now sat down with Famke Janssen, who's promoting her directorial debut "Bringing Up Bobby," and asked her about she may return for the "First Class" sequel, called "X-Men: Days of Future Past." She said that she cannot say anything, but hinted: "One never knows. Jean Grey, the Phoenix... she finds a way to reincarnate herself constantly, so one never knows. Stay tuned."
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" has Kitty Pryde sending her mind back to her younger self in order to warn the X-Men that Senator Robert Kelly's assassination will result in a future where Sentinels rule the United States and mutants live in internment camps. It's set to hit theaters on July 18th, 2014.

For someone of her age, she looks amazing. I'd bang her to pieces.

"Kitty Pryde sending her mind back to her younger self in order to warn the X-Men"
Maybe Ellen Page can go back in time and warn her father to impregnate a supermodel instead so his daughter can grow up to actually resemble a female.

That plot...
I've been asking for some originality in films lately, but let's not go overboard.

One can only hope the idea here is to reboot the X-Men's movie franchise post-Singer/Ratner, so that, at the very least, Last Stand never happened and thus the series can fall more in line with The Avengers.
One could hope, not that the one in question is me as I don't care for Marvel or comic books in general as much as the dorks, Avenger 3 might include some X-Men action. Maybe even some Fantastic Four if that reboot can be made to happen, although I know Avengers is Avengers and X-Men is X-Men, but then what f*cking good is for them to share the same universe if they never appear together?
Lots of room here for Marvel to do BIG things over the next ten to fifteen years.
DC...not so much.

Totally agree with you Mr. Mink.
Actually, there's a comic series called "Avengers Vs. X-Men"...so, there you go. That might be another plot device they'll butcher.. Fingers crossed.
